Napa Valley is well-known for its wineries, and it is one of the best places famous for producing the most excellent wines in the world. It is a beautiful place that offers picturesque views. From Napa Valley, the golden gate bridge looks fabulous in the clear sky throughout the year. With our Sausalito Limo Service, you can indulge in luxury and comfort while you explore the Mediterranean weather, striking wineries and the food here is fantastic.
Some of our personal favorites include:
Domaine Chandon: Domaine Chandon is the most visited winery in Napa Valley. It is the first sparkling wine venture by the leading French Winemaker duo Moet & Chandon in Napa. Wine lovers come to Domaine Chandon to enjoy the most excellent sparkling wines of this winery.
Peju Province Winery: Peju Province Winery is a boutique property that produces the best Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Their 2001 Cab fabulous but it is not there in regular tastings. You might convince them to pour a little bit of it, but you will end up drinking the entire bottle for sure. They charge $10 for wine tasting however if you purchase their wine, the tasting is complimentary. The property is in a beautiful setup, and you can click some fantastic photographs in their garden.
Charles Krug: Charles Krug is the first winery of Napa, and till date, it is among the finest ones. It is under renovations; however, they have a wine tasting room which is open. Their Sauvignon Blanc is fabulous, and you must also try their fantastic Zinfandel Port, and they serve it complimentary with German Chocolate. Depending upon the wines, they charge $10-$20 per person for wine tasting. If you purchase their wine, you can get a discount on the wine tasting fees. After your wine tasting at Krug, you can visit Silverado Brewing Company. They brew their beer, and they have a collection of some affordable wines. They offer outdoor seating arrangement, and their BBQ pork ribs are fantastic.
Orin Swift: Orin Swift is on Highway 29 in Rutherford. They have a small wine tasting room which is open only by appointment. “Prisoner” and “Papillon” are two of their famous wines that you should try.
Del Dotto Vineyards: When in Napa you must try the Del Dotto’s cave tours and barrel tastings. Booking of these tours in advance is a must. If you are interested in knowing the effect of different varieties of wood on wine, this tour is perfect for you. Try Cabernet Sauvignon which they let to age in Missouri Oak, and their Cave Blend and Ports are also outstanding. They have an exclusive wine shop from where you can get the rarest wine from around the world.
Frank Family: Owned by Former President of Disney Studios, Rich Frank and his wife Connie, Frank Family is one of the best wineries in Napa. Try their Chardonnay and Cabernet, and you will thank us later. Also, they do not charge the wine tasting fee.
Caymus If you are thinking of touring Caymus, take an appointment in advance. They have a small capacity of ten in their wine tasting room, and here you can taste some of the excellent Cabernets in the world.
